What is
Scalp Micropigmentation?
Scalp Micropigmentation(also known as SMP or a hair tattoo) is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses micro-needles to deposit pigment into the scalp. It creates the illusion of hair follicles, adding the appearance of density and fullness to areas of thinning or balding hair.
Microblading hairline treatment is also suitable for women with thinning hairlines.
The treatment for SMP (scalp micropigmentation) typically requires a minimum of 2 or 3 sessions and can be done up to a maximum of 7 sessions.
The process for three SMP sessions:
First Session:
Perform 60-70% of the treatment.
Check the progress one week later.
Second Session:
Perform as much treatment as possible within a two-hour time frame.
Third Session:
Increase the treatment density further.

Who is a good candidate for scalp micropigmentation?

Is SMP permanent?
SMP is a form of permanent makeup. This treatment typically lasts 3-6 years. After that time, a client may experience some slight fading, to which they can come back in for a quick touch up.
Does SMP work for all hair types and colors?
SMP is effective for various hair types and colors, including dark, light, and gray hair. We can customize the pigments to match your hair color and skin tone.
Does SMP hurt ?
For most clients, the pain minimal and it’s consistently less painful than traditional tattoos.
What's the recovery time after SMP?
There's typically no downtime after SMP. Some redness and minor discomfort may occur, but these usually subside within a few days.

Jiko has been working as a wedding hair and makeup artist for over 20 years. She is our Lead Permanent Makeup Artist to an already impressive career working both in Japan and the United States. She re-trained permanent makeup under Hideko. She is a certified BioTouch, Hawaii PMU Academy, and Beauty Angels Academy Permanent makeup artist that offers Eyebrow, Scalp pigmentation, Lip Blush, and Eyeliner. Her long time experience as a makeup artist will ensure the best look for you.
Before Your Appointment
*Please ensure that you have read our salon policy and procedure date requirements before booking.
Prior to your appointment:
Do not get sunburn on your scalp.
No Acne treatment products such as Accutane or Retin A for a month.
No exfoliation, peeling skin products. If you are not sure about the products you are using, please ask.
No blood thinning medications.
No Botox or filler within a month of your appointment.
Hair coloring should be done at least one week before the treatment.
Wash your hair before the appointment.
Refrain from applying any hair care products or anything to your hair on the day of appointment.
After Your Appointment
*Please read and follow these after care instructions after your procedure.
After your appointment:
Do not shampoo your scalp. It's ok to lightly rinse with water.
Do not touch the tattooed area.
Do not pick or scratch off scabs.
No water activities, sauna or extreme work out for a week.
No sun bathing for a week.
Be gentle, keep the area clean and sanitized.
